Nick is one of the Founding Directors of Optimise Systems.

As a graduate chemist he spent 14 years in production and quality management in the papermaking industry, becoming an Associate of the Chartered Quality Institute. Computing played an increasing part in manufacturing and that led to a move to Stewart Computers in 1985.

As a general technologist his role has been to oversee the implementation and support of Optimise Systems’ software through a number of generations of hardware and operating systems from Basic through SCO Unix to the current Linux and from 5 to 100+ user systems.

Recently he has concentrated on ensuring that our next generation of staff are equipped with the knowledge to support our applications, resulting in passing the role of Technical Director on to Charlie Grant.
